Gaelic for Employability

Following last term’s research interviews about different jobs which use Gaelic, P6/7 have spent the last two weeks listening to each other’s presentations about various jobs where Gaelic is useful or essential.

It has been really interesting finding out about the skills and qualifications needed for these jobs/careers.

This has been a Key Assessment Task which the P6/7s will shortly be able to take home to share with their families.

Pupils worked in pairs to interview people from a wide range of jobs, including broadcasters, politicians, academics, youth development officers and teachers. We are so grateful to all our interviewees for giving up their time.

One of the biggest challenges during the interviews was taking notes in real time!
